Hands-On Training at 2011 Pennsylvania State Fire Convention Huge Success
For the 1st time ever, hands-on training was held at the 2011 Pennsylvania State Fire Convention at the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA on September 22 & 23, 2011. The outcome was a huge success for everyone involved and Safety & Survival Training was honored to have been selected to deliver the training. Over the course of 2 days, S&ST instructors taught (4) different programs twice a day to firefighters from all across the State of Pennsylvania. The (4) programs that students were able to attend included Engine Company Operations - Live Fire, Firefighter Escape Options, SCBA Confidence and Fire Service Torch & Saw Use. This training event could not have been done without the support of the various manufacturers, dealers, and most of all the Pennsylvania State Firemen's Association. A very special thanks goes out to the Lake Harmony Fire Company for their overwhelming support and hospitality. We hope that this will lead into many more years of hands-on training events at the Pennsylvania State Convention. Honor & Commitment......
